Cheryl Godwin, MBA, CDFATM
Cheryl Godwin founded Informed Divorce Decisions in 2014 to help individuals who are going through the divorce process. She recognized, after going through a difficult divorce and watching friends and clients face their own struggles with the divorce experience, there had to be a kinder and gentler way. She realized that the process would be less intimidating and confusing if the participants were armed with greater knowledge about their financial situation and what they could reasonably expect their financial future to look like after divorce. Having someone who understands the financial aspects of divorce to guide and advise them as they move forward through the process can help to reduce confusion and fear of the unknown.
Cheryl has thirty years of experience working with Trust and Wealth Management clients, helping them to achieve their unique financial goals. Her dedication to the families with whom she has worked is evidenced by the advice, guidance and caring support she provided.
In addition to being a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor, Cheryl holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Cheryl is also active in her community as a volunteer and serves on several nonprofit boards.
